It seems I’ve been out on updates for a while. If you follow me on social media you know that I’m working my butt off.
First of all, I hope you guys are good when reading this. So let’s go to the updates.
As you know already, I’m super busy. With Cultura Secuencial I’ve been out for two months already. I do want to make time. I want to help them keep growing, yet I don’t want to feel like I’m drowning in so much work. Still, I urge you guys to listen, watch them. They bring a lot of news in everything pop and geek news.
Work. This is one of the places where most of my time has gone. In December a new store opened up, and I was moved to it. Is not the same to just run something that is built versus create something from scratch. In good news, it is going well, I have an amazing crew, and manager, and lots of support from my peers. Having said that, I don’t want the ball to fall, so that’s why I’m investing lots of my time in the store and making everything in it better.
YouTube channel. It is growing. More videos, more editing, more writing. This is the second thing that has taken my time. I know this should be secondary, but as I continue to build my author platform this has to have more time invested. With 29 videos and counting, this has led to being contacted by local writers to speak, make interviews, and other things.
Children’s book. The first book of the children’s book series is almost finished being formatted. Hopefully, fingers crossed it can come out before summer. But I must say, it is looking very good. Art for the second children’s book is being made at the moment as well. Hopefully, that one can be out at the end of the year.
Comic book. It is been done as well. The art is looking good. I’m calculating more or less when that one can come out.
ROD #2. I told you I’ve been busy. This one has suffered a bit in the writing quickly department. I have found ways to put some words here and there. As of today, it is sitting at 42k words. Hopefully, before the year ends it can be at 80k and spend what’s left of this year and maybe the first two-quarters of the next editing so it can be published in 2022. Of course, while editing I will be working on the cover and back cover arts so that it is being done and no time is being wasted.
Interview. Yes! I told you already I had one. Of course, it was in a specific theme. Auto publication. It is in Spanish and was conducted by the author of Obsesion, Alexandra Román. Besides that, I’ve been moving my social media pages, the e-store, and I just adopted a new canine friend. I really thought I wasn’t going to do it. Last year was tough when I lost two of my dogs. One to cancer, and one of old age. But he came into our lives and I had tremendous pressure from my wife and girls and took the decision of just adopting him.
