August Updates 2020

I know is not August yet. Somehow I feel that I need to write now because my schedule is becoming hectic as the year runs to its second half.

The school year is about to start, high season at work with a merger, the pandemic, not to mention some book work I have to supervise. I’m feeling anxious that one of the children’s books is being worked. That could mean that it could come out early next year. But for now, I’m just waiting for the artist to do her work. I’m crossing my fingers that it looks super good. My daughter helped with picking the artist.

On another note, between political campaigns running across the island in the middle of the pandemic (super facepalm), we manage to do a trip to the west part to see my book in the wild with the people of La Casita Books & Gifts. They were so cordial and nice to us. We thought that the book was going to take a while to get there because we ordered some copies before them, moreover our copies haven’t arrived yet.

Things that are up in the air on the endless TO-DO list. We are running to six YouTube videos. Hopefully, I can manage to finish all the ones I want before September. The comic is supposed to be finished for early next year and it could be out close to June if all goes well. If the first children’s book art goes well we could be working with the second children’s book this year and have it published also for next year.

The ERLandron shop has a few new items. I advise you to check it out. Towels, face masks, mugs, tees, and hoodies.

On a sour note, and mostly why I wanted to write now instead of August, one of my dogs passed away, and these few days I’ve been grouchy, and sensible. Early on February one of my dogs died because of cancer and now my oldest one. If you are an animal lover you will understand, that you get attached to them. They become family. I haven’t been able to write on book #2 for some days now and came to a halt on some editing work I was doing. I know life goes on, and I’m going to fully get on my feet, but for now, it has been tough.

So yeah, I keep myself busy all the time, I try to manage and juggle all aspects of my life. I really hope all this pandemic goes away soon. I miss some people already. If money wasn’t a problem, I would have been writing my but off and continue to deliver content to you guys. For now, slow and steady until this becomes more steady.

If you haven’t read my book yet, what are you waiting for? Reign of Darkness can be found at the moment in Amazon, on ebook and softcover. If you haven’t had your chance, don’t wait for too much and get aboard on this new vampire world. Be sure to follow me on social media as well. More updates later. This is what I have for now, until the next time, take care guys!
