I know, I have been away for a while here. There are too many things to count.
VACATION
So I took a vacation at the end of July. I needed it. So it was a total disconnect from everything and just focused on the family. I ate like a maniac. I had fun with my daughters and was very kid-like having NERF battles on my brother-in-law’s house. So that took me some weeks.
JOB
Coming out of vacation I had a lot of meetings and because of the industry I’m in, it is exceptionally so changing, I got transferred to a new store. It is normal here. But because of it, you need to accommodate yourself, learn the new people on it, and see how you can fit in ASAP to make a useful contribution. So that takes some time. But in a way or another, I feel mentally more tranquil even though there is more work. And bonuses don’t hurt either. *insert evil laugh here*
BOOK
Well, my friends. August 30th it is right around the corner and…
…it finally came through the mail. Now the finishing touches are being worked. I talked to a local bookstore, and it is going to be on their shelves. Preorders are still live through AMAZON. And this will be a constant but slow process until I can keep talking to more bookstores and/or websites that can take my book. If you are a bookstore, you can get it through the Ingramspark catalog.
BOOK #2
It is going slow but steady. Mostly because of everything above. Book #1 book launch, work, family. But I’m at 15k words and have a few scenes detailed already so that the writing process goes smoothly. Technically the series has the complete arc and the characters that will appear throughout. I’m going to continue working so that all that it is the Reign of Darkness project can come out as good and as fast as possible. Not into rushing things if it is not good.
